The Arts Foundation Awards

The Arts Foundation supports emerging artists across a range of art forms. Awards were given across six categories: Creative Non-Fiction, Essay Filmmaking, Furniture Design, Jazz Composition, Live Art and Materials Innovation. The winners were Joanna Walsh for Creative Non-Fiction, Sam Stevens for Essay Filmmaking, Max Frommeld for Furniture Design, Lauren Kinsella for Jazz Composition, Ivan Ifekoya for Live Art and Julian Melchiorri for Materials Innovation. The winners were presented with their awards by guest of honour Will Self at ceremony that took place at Conway Hall, London.

Bullet PR were briefed to work on a PR campaign that was designed to highlight the awards to media focussing on diverse artforms - from film to jazz to literature to furniture design. The awards were covered in everything from BBC Radio 3’s Jazz Now programme, BBC World Service’s Arts Hour, The TLS, The Bookseller, Wallpaper, World of Interiors, Crafts Magazine, Disegno and Jazz Journal.

Bullet also advised and assisted the Arts Foundation with social media strategy for the awards.
